Weird...
I sometimes find...
charity,
to be dead in the hearts of Christians,
and alive in the den of thieves...

A stream of creative writing, questioning and contemplation of any vein of thought relevant to the enhancement of a meaningful life and to the construction of a civilization of love.

Me too.. Although Charity, in any way shape or form is a good thing...
Even the whole Robin Hood idea or character/dude was good when viewed objectively, because even though he commited a sin by stealing from the rich, he was saving lives by feeding those who were starving to death..
But you will probably disagree with me, cuz it's too similar to LIBERAL (dirty word) taxes.. hahahaha..
And I know that wasn't your point.. and I agree with your point that Christian Charity, at least personally, is decreasing.. And that is a sad sad thing. But there's hope! because we have faith...
I also find it to be true. But wierd, no, not wierd.
ironic then..
Extremely Ironic, considering... Do you have like secret super powers? I think you do!
Boy! Ergo, you sure told me!
Yes, because a guy stealing from the rich in order to feed the poor is EVIL. The poor being those less fortunate individuals who happened not to be born of noble birth. The Poor being the ones who have to work their asses off, just to have their income taxed away in order to fund bigger armies... and more material possessions. They are the serfs, slaves and servants of the EVIL Aristocracy. But yeah.. I can see how this would be harmful for a child... especially if you don't bother to teach that child the difference between fantasy and reality.
My point being Charity from any source... is GOOD
i suppose we must settle on a definition of charity before we debate whether charity itself is good or not
